Office Space

here are some more 'love letters' in a different light.

i absolutely love them!

this is where most of my work takes place. its not very big. i do however have a corner office, a window, i make my own hours, and there is no dress code. i have to say its pretty awesome.

Love Letters

the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul
and with all your strength.
Deuteronomy 6:5

is patient,

is kind.
Corinthians 13:4

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and
and the greatest of these is love.
- Corinthians 13:13

my apologies for the delay yet again, but remember Rome wasn't built in a day. Here are my promised 'love letters'. i have to say hammering the nails in was quite a relief! even though i almost took off a finger.

enjoy

Stationary

are you wondering where ive been. alabama for a quick four day visit, colorado for a wonderful wedding weekend, and then SICK. not fun. kids really do transfer germs i never thought it true.

so ive been a little off track and not doing much healing, probably why i got sick. my yoga practice has also slipped. this post is more of a written confession so that i know i have been slacking and do something to change that. we all do it, but when you write it down and tell everyone thats when you really realize you need to change. thats when you start healing.

although i don't have pictures (yet) i have started working on two new creations. one is some wall art, and the other is stationary. the stationary is simple and stamped with ink and of course, personalized. i am still working on the blouse cards too. my goal is to be at one of the craft shows this fall. the hardest part about reaching this goal is making the time commitment each and every day to work on something, anything to get closer to that goal. help me get motivated cause right now, i AM stationary, and not moving any closer to my dream...

Oh Shirt!

What do i do when i get stressed out? Heal. now i know my recent creations are not heels, but i did some major healing while working on them. thats what i do and where the idea for the name came from.

i did see this idea on a printed card but decided to make a small twist and make it my own using scrapbook paper. it goes along with the shoe idea but a lot easier. such a cute way to say 'happy birthday', 'i miss you', or just 'hey'.

below is my set of five black and whites..get them while they are hot! i will custom make the tags to say something special too.

get healed!

Baby Boy

Here is my latest creation. It is a baby box. A really technical name I know. It just is a cute way to display all the information for a baby when they are born. I have one in my room actually but the style of it is quite different. I was born in the 80's, it's very pastel with teddy bears and ducks, and its counted cross stitched. Check out the comparison...let me know what you thin

heaLing

This is hopefully just the beginning of what will become a very long journey for me. i love to scrapbook! i will make mini scrapbooks, photo boxes, cards, frames, and much more. i usually turn to my creative side for all my gift or card giving needs. i find it much more enjoyable to personalize each and every one. i am my worst critic. i will spend time on the little details until it looks exactly how i picture it.

i have recently been inspired from a set of invitations i created to focus more specifically on one thing. they were invitations for a bachelorette party and i wanted them to be feminine, not girly. shoes! what girl doesn't love shoes? exactly. 21 individual unique designed paper heels later..i arrive at the beginning of heaL'd.

i hope you all enjoy my designs. the shoes are made from paper, buttons, thread, beads, glitter..basically anything i can find in my station. i hope for feedback and ideas. i already have much inspiration from my friends and family. i hope to soon have a large collection and to be able to sell my shoes. you too can then be heaL'd.

get heaL'd!
